Embossed Leather Black

A staple of Marine Serre Couture, this premium sheepskin leather is made in Italy and has a satin sheen that naturally gives off light, as though it has already acquired a delicate patina over time. The grained, structured leather is then heat-embossed to reveal the house’s Moonogram print. The pieces in this range draw inspiration from classic tailoring codes, which merge seamlessly with Marine Serre’s resolutely contemporary vision: women’s styles, from fitted coats and jackets, to a glamorous bustier dress, are fitted to follow the curves of the body. In many ways, elevating conventional fabrics such as activewear jersey through precise couture techniques has served as the blueprint for Marine Serre’s transgressive vision of womenswear at large. This unabashedly glamorous, all-female range reimagines traditional sportswear styles through draping, pleating and a trompe l’oeil play on transparency. Garments emphasize the bust and hips, with a prominent use of cut-outs, complimented by our seductive Moonogram Mesh Jersey (made from GRS-certified recycled fibres). All are designed with full ease of movement in mind — even traditional evening silhouettes. To this end the draped jersey is smooth and soft, with a natural sheen.

Moon Laser Denim Light Beige

The appeal of our All Over Moon denim never wanes, with this classic fabric returning again and again. Made from a GOTS-certified organic cotton canvas, our indigo denim is stonewashed to produce a light blue, sand and purple blue shades; the latter is also treated with a pigment spray to achieve a really vibrant gradient effect that fades to a paler purple at the sides of the garment. After stonewashing, the All Over Moon is laser-printed onto the pieces, its placement differing for each. All are finished with red reinforcement stitches, logo-engraved metal buttons, and a Marine Serre jacron back patch.

This virgin wool knit has a neat jersey stitch and has been designed to work as a refined everyday staple. The preppy influence running across the collection is once again present and correct, particularly in the short-sleeved women’s sweatshirt and fitted cardigan. For a more adventurous look that taps into the body-con aesthetic of dance, the ultra-cropped women’s sweater features a striking cut-out effect; this very contemporary twin set is comprised of an under layer topped by a second layer consisting of the sleeves and the very top of the garment. There is also a versatile men’s fitted sweater. These simple and wearable looks are elevated by a retro logo that taps into the nostalgia and appeal of vintage luggage labels. Pieces either feature a large centrally placed jacquard knit logo in a lozenge (in the case of the men’s sweater) or a smaller embroidered triangle. The range comes in easy-to-wear grey and red.
